We welcome you to join Team John Wayne as the charity component of any race you do and participate in honor or memory of your family, friends and co-workers who have been affected by cancer. Team John Wayne members receive fundraising tips and fun incentives, special jerseys, team camaraderie and more! Team John Wayne brings courage, strength and grit to the fight against cancer.

John Wayne Film Festival Online Auction
The 4th Annual John Wayne Film Festival benefiting John Wayne Cancer Foundation returns to Dallas for its second year with the charitable Kara and Randall Goss serving as this year’s festival chairs and Anne and Steve Stodghill serving as Honorary Chairs. Wayne family members Patrick Wayne, Melinda Wayne-Munoz, Ethan Wayne, Marisa Wayne, and Anita Swift will return to Dallas to join the festival chairs, host committee and guests for the four-day festival. The John Wayne Film Festival will be held at Highland Park Village Theatre and LOOK Cinemas from September 24th through September 27th and is a rare opportunity to see some of The Duke’s most legendary films on the big screen.

SoCal Lifeguard Paddledown for Cancer Relay 2015 dates to be announced soon!
100 to 150 CA Lifeguards will do a 250 mile ocean relay paddle from Gaviota State Beach to Imperial State Beach, CA.
Please support our SoCal Paddledown, which in turn provides important education to our local youth. Block the Blaze is a youth skin cancer education program that teaches youth the importance of sun safety, skin cancer prevention, self screening and provides the tools to youth that they need to get started playing it safe in the sun. Block the Blaze is supplying presentations, sunscreen and hats to over 27,000 junior lifeguards this summer.

Welcome to the home of Gritty Up 2015!
You’re invited to the second annual Gritty Up, a 3-hour spin session benefiting the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, at GRIT Cycle in Costa Mesa on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 1 – 4 pm. Individual participants can secure a bike for $200 starting April 1 by visiting www.gritcycle.com. Individual participants or teams are asked to raise at least $2,500 (all donated to JWCF) from friends, family and colleagues to join the ride led by GRIT instructors Matt Bourne, Marisa Wayne, Dani Wallbrock-Gallinger, and more.
