HALF MARATHON & 10K
This year has been a burr under the saddle!
Our two main goals for the John Wayne Grit Series events are to: Fight Cancer and give every participant an amazing experience. As much as we want to bring you the same John Wayne Grit Series experience like last year, the current COVID-19 restrictions will not allow us to host an in-person run to same John Wayne caliber. Luckily, we will still be able to achieve our #1 goal by bringing our #JohnWayneGrit to the fight against cancer virtually!
HOW TO RUN VIRTUALLY
John Wayne Grit Series is a virtual run in 2020! To take part, Register and Fundraise today. Then run anytime from when you register up until the scheduled race weekend. Email Greg (firstname.lastname@example.org) a screenshot of your run tracking app showing that you went the distance. JWCF will mail you your participant shirt and finisher mug after the event.
Form a Corporate or Friends and Family Team
- Be a Team Captain & rally your team
- Promote team building at your company and spotlight your company at the run
- Run or walk as a group in honor or memory of a loved one who has been affected by cancer
- Contact Greg Graber, JWCF Fundraising Director, for more information at email@example.com or 949-631-8400
Both loop courses start and finish alongside Movie Road and are chip timed for those that want to race or you can go at your own pace. At the finish line, you'll be rewarded with a finisher's mug and the satisfaction of knowing that you stepped up to the challenge and helped fight cancer!
The elevation is 4,500ft.
