NEWPORT COAST 25K & 5K
This year has been a burr under the saddle!
Our two main goals for the John Wayne Grit Series events are to: Fight Cancer and give every participant an amazing experience. As much as we want to bring you the same John Wayne Grit Series experience like last year, the current COVID-19 restrictions will not allow us to host an in-person run to the same John Wayne caliber. Luckily, we will still be able to achieve our #1 goal by bringing our #JohnWayneGrit to the fight against cancer virtually!
HOW TO RUN VIRTUALLY
John Wayne Grit Series is a virtual run in 2020! To take part, Register and Fundraise today. Then run anytime from when you register up until the scheduled race weekend. Email Greg (firstname.lastname@example.org) a screenshot of your run tracking app showing that you went the distance. JWCF will mail you your participant shirt and finisher mug after the event.
Both loop courses start and finish at the bridge in the lower parking lot of Crystal Cove State Park. At the finish line, you'll be rewarded with a finisher's mug and the satisfaction of knowing that you stepped up to the challenge and helped fight cancer.
The elevation at Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach is 1,033 ft.
