Western Movie Night Co. is playing a John Wayne movie outdoors in front of the barn on Mane Street starting at dusk for John Wayne Grit Series Pioneertown participants & their supporters.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to get your photos (and possibly videos) taken at the start/finsh line and along the picturesque race course by our team of photographers and videographers. 
 
We'll also have a digital photo booth inside the Barn on race day.

Chef Paul, chef and owner of Fika-Fete will prepare some delicious food for purchase on race day from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

NOTE:
The event is cup less. Bring your own handheld water bottle or hydration pack to the event and refill it at aid stations.
There will not be any cups at the aid stations. We will have filled water bottles for finishers at the finish line.

 There Will Be 4 Water Stations On The Half Marathon Course And 2 Water Stations On The 10K Course.
There Will Be Water, Drinks And Snacks At The Finish Line.

John Wayne Grit Series And John Wayne Cancer Foundation Merchandise Available To Purchase At The Event

We’ll also provide a special bib at the event that say “I run for…” on them and have a blank space in the middle so that runners can write the names of their honorees on them to raise awareness for cancer.

COURSE INFORMATION

This stunning course features hills and magnificent views of the high desert and Sawtooth Mountains In The Pioneertown Mountains Preserve. Both courses are chip timed for those that want to race or you can go at your own pace. At the finish line, you'll be rewarded with a finisher mug and the satisfaction of knowing that you stepped up to the challenge and helped fight cancer!

The elevation at Pioneertown is 4,400 feet.
